Grimard recently worked on the replacement of 32 cameras as part of the refurbishment of Highway 30 between Châteauguay and Vaudreuil.
The objective is to replace the old analog cameras with new IP technology equipment.
Challenges encountered:
The majority of the cameras are on concrete poles varying from 15 to 21 meters in hight. Due to the risks involved during the Night work, the safety of the employees had to be ensured and that was done by diverting traffic for 10 hours.
Great success:
The work was completed in one and a half months thanks to good planning and speed of execution.
