Grimard was entrusted with the implementation of a new gas-insulated substation (GIS) and the redesign of the isolators for the new GIS. The work included excavation and fill, concreting, metal assembly, grounding, as well as adding a motorized isolator and assembling the GIS. Main challenges: working on an active energy transport network and planning the line-transfer manoeuvres.
