Grimard built a new control centre for the Centre intégré en gestion de la circulation de Montréal (CIGC), developed and implemented a network framework for CIGC’s data centre, digitized 325 analog video feeds for IP, and provided support and maintenance services for equipment and software for two years after the project’s completion. Grimard’s work fell into these broad categories:
- Integrating 24 surveillance stations
- Integrating LAN infrastructure to support the various systems
- Installing a network of copper structured and fiber-optic cabling
- Setting up a temporary control centre
- Refurbishing the existing spaces
- Transferring the temporary control centre to the new control centre
- Training operators, administrators and technical staff
- Maintaining and servicing the equipment and software
