Grimard is proud to have obtained, in 2020, a strategic contract from Hydro-Québec. This large-scale project consist on replacing all switchgear 11KV of this power plant.
According to Hydro-Quebec, this would be the largest peripheral switch order, not to mention the fact that manufacturing will take place until 2025.
This mandate will allow us to meet several challenges on which our engineering team will respond.
In addition to conducting lightning strike tests, our Grimard Automatisation team has also done internal arc testing. Our result? The Trials were a success!
We are pleased with the confidence that Hydro-Quebec has placed in us and the entire team will work in synergy to make this project a success.
